Article monetization

In my article about Articles and article marketing, I mentioned several techniques that could monetize an article and the ones I used were as follows:-

1. Including links to affiliate programs
2. Including AdSense with my article
3. Including links to other sites that I own that have AdSense on them

I also mentioned a technique that you should use to get people to follow the links you place in your articles. The technique is basic copywriting, pure and simple. The way you mention a page will largely determine whether people will follow a link. If you are like most readers of my article, the reason you clicked on the link to get to this page was because you wanted to know what further information was on this page. The driver was curiousity.

So when you link to your own web page or even to affiliate sites, make sure you create enough interest in your reader to make them take the action you want them to.

Don't forget too that if you wish to copy my article and use it on your own site you are welcome to do so provided all the links remain intact. If you are using AdSense, you should find ads that relate to email marketing, lead generation and so on which in general payout quite nicely.
