How to track visitor numbers free

In my rush to publish Cash from Keywords this morning I overlooked one vital piece of the jigsaw - how to find out whether anyone was visiting the site. So I added some code from StatCounter. This gives me real time data on who is on the site and how many visitors I am getting as well as showing me where they are from and which keywords they entered to find my site. It also shows me which sites my visitors come from.

StatCounter is free and very easy to install. In fact I republished my whole site in a few minutes having added the StatCounter code to my page template.
