Organising your affiliate programs
Everyone it seems suffers from information overload when they start to learn about internet marketing but if we "go niche" then one of the sub-problems we all have to deal with is managing the affiliate programs we join. Each one has its own username and password, percentage commissions rates, URLs, Terms and Conditions and reporting systems and it can be quite difficult keeping track of all the information.
One of the web design programs I use - XSitePro - makes this process a whole lot easier because it lets you set up affiliate links that you can then include in your webpages by selecting them from a list. All the contact data, commission data and affiliate URL stuff is stored in the background. You can re-visit this info any time you want and of course you need to set it up once for each program you join but after that it is a time saver.
