How to sell information products on ebay

I listened to an audio recording today in which someone was explaining that one of the attractions of ebay was that it was a route to 181 million people who were prepared to spend money online and in many cases, actually had spent money online. Thus ebay users are much more likely to spend money over the internet than other people simply because they were accustomed to the process. However, ebay is not apparently a great marketplace for information products because people who search ebay are more likely to be looking for things rather than information.

The lady in the recording does sell information products though and one trick she uses is to sell very cheap info products that require email registration so that she has the email addresses of all buyers. She can market further more expensive products to them down the line. And of course each product she sells contains affiliate links to further related products too.
